MJR is a genius, so I'm sure the new album will be awesome! I'd definately like to see a 20+ minute song, and I don't mind how many tracks there are, so long as there is a couple of epics, and the short songs are fast and powerful. I think if it's like V that would be best, but obviously not a clone... I'd definately love to hear some awesome bass melodies and powerhouse drumming similar to on V. Anyway, can't wait!

I Hope that there are at least 12 planned songs including a 20+ minute epic song.. and I Hope the bass has a better sound and really rips and I Hope it is done by january but because of promotioning and stuff like that it will be released around march or april........ I Hope *wink wink*

Yes. I realize it isn't "official". But hey that is the first date I have seen put up on the album. Publicity about an upcoming album is always a good thing. Very strange policy to discourage talk about the album even if it isn't official.

I am going to guess that the title track will be very long and have several parts to it. That would be cool.

Just in case some here may not have heard awhile back:

I remember it being official that there was a longer "epic" type of track on the album and that it was titled the same name as the album "Paradise Lost". Am I wrong and there wasn't an official announcement regarding a longer track or has it been taken back or what?

I thought I remember back when Jax hinted that there wasn't going to be a 20+ minute song but the title track Paradise Lost was going to be more like 10-12 minutes still pretty epic.

I remember in one of the studio updates I reckon it was MJR mentioning something about a 20+ song... Hopefully it's true and the album will be out soon...

Yeah, he mentions that he definitely does not want to do an epic this time... Just their usual 'longer song'.
At this rate though I wouldn't be surprised if he did come out with one though, it would be totally badass

My guess is that it will be as guitar-based as 'The odyssey' but will try to capture the 'simple' songwriting style as found in 'Divine.'

Now for my hopes, I want it to continue in the vein of 'V.' A solid album with a main theme. And I want lots of keyboards and orchestral atmosphere.

Production-wise, I want it to be like 'V.' I'd like an epic song like in 'Divine.' Actually, Paradise lost itself is like part of the idea of 'Divine.'
