Moderators, i dont know if this is allowed, if not feel free to delete

On the mxtabs forums there is a similar bootleg trading thread, why not use this to share opeth bootlegs so we dont have to sell them on ebay for $65 :)

I would love to see Still Life played live, i am quite new to opeth, hope to see them on the next tour :)

Anyway, here is how it works:

1. Go http://s3.yousendit.com/

2. Upload the file, fill in your own email adress as the recipient, or use www.spam.la (mail it to opeth@spam.la for instance). great site btw.

3. Post the link here :)

After uploading it will be downloadable 25 times. So we need other people to re-upload the bootlegs. It wont cost you a dime.

PLEASE, SHARE YOUR FILES!!! and take the time to upload something yourself!

Ill kick of with my measely contribution: Welcome To The Drapery Falls Cafe (too bad its mp3, not mpg).

Yes DC++

Within DC++ are lots of HUBS (like rooms). Ultimate Metal users have their own Hub located at paladin.sublevels.net

If you go to http://paladin.sublevels.net/ you can register with username & password, then connect to the HUB via DC++. You can find lots of Opeth related stuff there. If they are not working now, I'm sure its just temporary and they'll be up soon.

yes, torrents would probably be the best way to get bootlegs out to the hub challenged peeps... easytree is pretty kick ass.

well i think the yousendit is pretty good.

for the sharer it has 2 advantages:

1. you decide WHEN to upload yourself
2. you only have to upload once for 25 users to download, not upload 1 time per user.

so PLEASE dont let this thread die!

BitTorrent (such as www.easytree.org) is better, cause it's a p2p kind of thing, instead of being stuck d/loading from 1 person, everyone chips in on the bandwidth. As long as at least one person is sharing, others can continue d/loading. Best way to share bootlegs!
