Collaborative print I made with my girlfriend in the studio when she was over yesterday. Never used vine black ink before, and this definitely convinced me to go with it again some time. Usually use renaissance black and vine is much more opaque and bleak. Treatments of cadmium red ink were rolled over and into the black. Various fabrics used for the patterning (esp top right), lots of mineral spirits and some more delicate painting. All the long thin reductive markings are the other side of a paintbrush. Had fun doing this one.
 
I'll be using some other colors soon but as far as I can tell, red and black's always been kinda my "thing" (not that it isn't anyone else's thing either, mind you). Thanks though!
