You guys seem to be forgetting about MDF. And I believe there is some sort of doom fest coming up in New York City soon? The names of these new US metal fests escape me since I can't go to them anyway.

Yes, MDF eclipses NDF by leaps and bounds, though the latter's lineup certainly makes it well worth attending if I were near there.

Problems with MDF: Lineup isn't nearly as solid for my preferences as that fest, and it's in one of the worst cities in the US.

Are you thinking of Martyrdoom? That festival is primarily focused on newer bands playing old school-influenced death metal and black metal. Really wish I could make it out to that one...
