The second amendment thing is problematic given the developments in military technology vs the armaments legally and rationally allowed to civilians. I think I kind of understand where the pro Gun people are coming from but the world has changed since their arguments made sense. I still think people should be able to own certain kinds of fire arms and that the castle doctrine is fine and good.
