Went on a hike yesterday, lots of thunderstorms means lots of fungus.



Some sort of orange coral fungus.



Crown tipped coral mushroom. Edible. Smells fishy.



A giant jelly fungus, Tremella fuciformis. Apparently edible, but I'll stick to Wood Ears.



And this is the shit ton of Chanterelles I found. Looking rough because I already cleaned them and you pretty much have to scrub them with a toothbrush.

as much as I'd like to go prancing around like a hippie fucked on acid looking for magic mushrooms, most of my gathering is done on hiking trails at state parks. I'm a bit overweight but I'm not exactly immobile.
