The Plastic Surgery Debate Thread

If plastic needs surgery, who are we to judge it?

Hopefully not...

Plastic people... plastic mentality... plastic society? I do not know.

I think its pretty convenient if you're killing people for a living! Forget about those wigs, haircuts, and close calls with the razor... a little scalpel time, and you'll be fine.

If it is required for health reasons or if you have severe insecurity issues stemming from a certain physical characteristic then I am all for plastic surgery.

However, if your goal is as shallow as say to look like Barbie then fuck off.

I had surgery done to remove something that no man should really ever have (gynecomastia)

I don't see anything wrong with it TBH. If people want to change something about their appearance, let them do it. Makes no difference to me.

as far as boob jobs go, as long as they don't look ridiculous, I like them.

There is nothing wrong with plastic surgery. If it will give someone confidence and make them feel better about themselves, then it is worth it. If I ever broke my nose and it got fucked up, I would definitely have plastic surgery to get it fixed, but luckily I've never had my ass kicked before and won every fight I have ever been in.

Oh yeah? Well, my dad could beat up your dad!

This is a vast oversimplification of the issue, and reeks of moralistic silliness.

How much more can you complicate plastic surgery? You don't have work done on you if you are ugly, you do it if you FEEL ugly, and that's purely psychological. Nevermind how much you fix yourself physically, the problem will remain if, with the adittion that you will look like a arsefucked Uruk-Hai from Mordor in a few years.

Anyway, I think it's ridiculous that people spend tons of cash for the only reason that people will hate them a little less. In the end, who gives a flying crap?

Oh, and with all respects, if you contradict my post, at least gimme an argument against it.

your argument is BS

I had my chest surgery done and that whole entire "issue" has dissappeared. I feel great about my body now

now I still have a million other insecurities/self doubts but that specific problem is gone now
