The "post pictures of your car" thread

hahaha actually they suck. Costed a shit load. I have to constantly pull the pump out the garage to inflate those fucken tires. When I get a flat, I have to wait up to 6 days for a new one. Should have never.

The plus side is they feel great on the road.

cop motor, cop brakes, cop suspension...

Oh man, I can't wait until I FINALLY GET MINE BACK, it's been 6 goddamn weeks; I ran the first of two consecutive yellow lights at a highway intersection, the second turned red (its presence didn't occur to me, I was in a hurry :erk: ), I tried to stop but skidded through it on wet pavement and slammed into an old lady's fender (at least it wasn't her ESP or Jackson yuk yuk yuk) when she pulled out in front of me, so I had to get the front end fixed (got it done at a shop where I go to college).

This took 3 weeks, I got it back, then discovered I had mechanical problems (unrelated), so I took it to my local shop at home (I was on break at the time), and asked them to also look over the body work - turns out the shop in my college town had fixed the exterior, but one look at the underbody with the car up on a lift showed that they had SERIOUSLY neglected the internals/unibody/structure :Smug: So I had to leave it at home for the corrective body work to be done, and also deal with the insurance company to get them to pay for the fucking corrective repairs (AKA nailing jello to a fucking wall). Then, I went home last weekend to pick it up, drove it around, shut it off, and discovered the coolant reservoir was overflowing :mad: So I had to bring it back AGAIN, and take the bus back to school, so this weekend I'm going home AGAIN to finally pick it up for good (hopefully). Turns out the reservoir overflowing was just the result of the wrong pressure cap being put on the radiator...I hope :erk:

So yeah, I've been alluding to this in a few places, so there's the whole story - and I'll have pics soon, cuz I fucking LOVE my whip! (though of course it's not as nice as some of yours, cuz I'm 22 :D) Slash, I LOVE the Audi Quattros dude, very nice! And Pete, that's a sweet Holden, but tell me you got it with a manual! And that goes for you too Meister!

HAHAHAAHAHHAAhahhaha, I think the best part of that post was that it took a sec for the pic to pop up, greatly heightening the suspense (and payoff :lol: )

Ok, for any tall/big dudes out there....

What kinda "car" car do you guys fit in???

I drive a taurus, cause I couldn't fit in any other car. I don't wanna truck cause I drive to school everyday and so I was getting raped with the V8.

All the other sedans I tried I couldn't fit my legs under the wheel.
WTF?

I'm not even that big so I can't imagine what other REALLY big dudes do.

@Numb
Is that your fuggin CASA dude???

Amen! (though BMW's aren't exactly famous for their reliability ;) But at least you're combating the stereotype! :D)

This is what I drive...

Reliable, fuel efficient, tons of space for gear, love it. Should've bought an 07 or something used though instead of caving and buying it brand new last year, would've saved a fortune... Got a sickening warranty and stuff though and it'll last me forever so oh well.

About 2 months after I bought it someone rear ended me on the highway doing $4500 in damage to it when it had less than 3000km on it :/ Fucking sucks, as if a brand new car didn't lose enough resale to begin with. I blame drivers like Marcus :lol:
