any one see that celebrity show on channel seven last night? celebrities uncovered or something? anyway it showed paparzzi footage of stars, and they showed this montage of Paris posing for the papa's all these different times.

I had a conversation about this with my girlfriend. I was saying that Paris has a good body (c'mon, you know she does) and Elissa (my GF) said "Yeah, but she does fuck all for a living... She just spends her days working out... She doesnt have to work, therefore I do not like her!"
Now call me stupid, but if I had 4 hundred bazillion dollars, hell would freeze over before I got a job. She doesnt have to work. Good for her. People blame her because her dad is rich. That is stupid. It is not her fault that she doesnt have to work. Who would work if they didnt have to?
I'm not saying that I respect her or that she is a role model or anything like that, but to bag her out because she was born into a very wealthy family is a bit harsh. She likes fashion and shit like that and is atleast making a go of that. Good on her. She's obviously not the smartest pea in the pod, but if she likes fashion then fuckin A!

Thats exactly it though, she isn't smart because she wasn't even schooled properly when she was young, and then did nothing with herself when she got older. If I was that rich, I wouldn't exactly work either, but I would be pursuing so many interests that I would otherwise not be able to pursue, and making the most of not having to work to support myself, not just being lazy. I would be getting degrees, taking up many hobbies, travelling, etc. All she seems to do is spend money and pose.

No, I'd disagree there...if I had unlimited money, I'd still work. The difference would be that I wouldn't have to do work I didn't like - I adore my work in fitness, and being rich wouldn't make me stop doing it. It would just mean I wouldn't have to also work an office job (not that I hate my office job, it's just not very interesting) to pay the bills
I can't imagine doing nothing useful with my life. Even if you don't have to work to live, you can still do things that are meaningful, be that making a difference to other people or just developing yourself as a person. I can't imagine anything more boring and useless than a whole life spent in self-indulgence.
I don't think people blame her for being rich necessarily, it's just that they blame her for doing nothing with it. I respect people who use their natural faculties, strengths, resources and talents well. In her case it's money she was born with, and there are a lot of things people can do with excess money than buying shoes and handbags.
Ultimately though it's up to her what she does with what she has, just like it is with anyone - it's her life and her money - but a lot of people don't have any respect for her because of it

I am pretty sure she travels a fuck load. She was in OZ for the Melbourne cup. I reckon she would frequent Paris and France and all those places a fair bit too... Well, more than you and I would.

I don't think Nicole is stupider at all, at least she has some proper conversations with people.

Nah, I can see your points, and well said. Its just that if I was that rich, my first priority would be to fly to Europe or USA to see Dream Theater, then fly to Sweden to see Pain of Salvation. Work would be the last thing on my mind. But I guess it is really hard to say.. seeing as though I HAVE to work to survive, and don't know what it is like on the other side of the fence.

Yes but it only takes a couple of weeks to go on a trip to see some bands, what would you do with the rest of your life? I think you would find after a while, having money and being able to buy anything you want is not the most important thing in the world and you would have a change of priorities.

I reckon both are fucking idiots but Nicole is the better looking, the smarter and the slightly less bratty of the two. She at least tries to be nice to the family sometimes and talk to them, Paris is a full time bitch. And she doesn't look bulemic like Paris does.
And if I had that much money I'd just put it all into trying to be a rock star! Hell I could play arena shows before I even have one fan, it would rock! I could come out of nowhere and put on bigger shows than Kiss right from the start! Good way to get known and kickstart my career haha!
