The Somberlain and Storm of The Lights Bane

Yeah from the remaster that came out a couple years back. Its just an alternate unreleased mix of the album with a rerecorded Feathers Fell on piano with some acoustic guitar and vocals after Retribution, then it has the Where Dead Angels Lie EP at the end.

Re-released on 2xCD and 2xLP in June 2006 by Black Horizon Music, The End
Records & Norma Evangelium Diaboli.

all their albums are good, even the most recent one. sure it can't stand up to sotlb but seriously what can? i almost saw them live in la but they cancelled and then he shot himself later.

How? was he not allowed to enter the U.S due to his accessory to murder crime?

saw them live in Tijuana in April 2005. Got to meet Jon a couple times there. He signed my ticket and the Maha Kali ep which I bought there. Didn't really like maha kali that much but I wanted a cd for him to sign.

Damn Dissection were good. The only band that can live up to their black/death awsomeness is Thulcandra, IMHO.
Also, Reinkaos was different but great. :kickass:

word. Their comeback was so anticipated. It seems like a long time ago that I heard about Jon getting released from jail and that he was going to continue Dissection with Faust on drums. 2 of my fav. metal musicians who just so happen to be murderers in one band - killer! (no pun intended). Then it was said that Faust couldn't continue.

so you hedge...considering what you said on page one.

And yea, the two classic Dissection albums really stand the test of time. Much better, still, than most that gets released in the death/black genre.

Has anyone heard the new Forsaken record?
