...and more to come!!! :Smokin:

Pains me to say it dude, but quit acting like a Yankee fan.

My description of this October as a "Nightmare" was in reference to the shitty, shitty post season where every team I was rooting for lost- in particular my Yankees, the fact that the stupid God damn BloSox won the stupid God damn world series which is what the Yankees are supposed to do, the end of the Joe Torre era in New York, A-Rod opting out and the possibility that the Yankees could lose Pettitte, Posada and Mo.

So not only do I see my team lose, the team I hate more than anything in the world win, but I also see my team lose one of their all time great managers and potentially four of my favorite players. Awesome.

I wonder what the point spread on the NE/Indy game will be next week. I don't recall where it's being played, but being at home is worth three points. I'm guessing it will be Indy +7 or +10, depending on the location.

Baseball playoffs were crappy due to the fact that 5 of 7 series were sweeps. That blows no matter who you root for. Boston was easily the best team though. They should have won.

I have a question for all the sports fans out there.

Lets say you're home alone watching the game & it's in the 4th quarter. Game's winding down... You get horny as shit, I mean raging vein bulging hard on. Maybe a really hot chick in one of the commercials did it to you, or maybe you were staring at your favorite hot chick poster on the wall during the boring ass commentary... Who knows, but you need to relieve yourself ASAP. Also, your... Sister (just fucking pretend you have a Sister if you don't already) is coming home with her boyfriend at the end of the game & you're going to go... Christmas shopping with them promptly.

Do you...

A) Masturbate while physically watching the game (you don't want to miss the score!)

B) Turn the game off to watch a porno & call a friend to ask the final score, in turn looking & feeling like a loser for missing the final score

C) Stay firmly planted in your seat, watch the end of the game, & lose your raging hard on as soon as your Sister & her boyfriend come home, therefore becoming insanely irritated & having a terrible time Christmas shopping as reprocussions

how was the turn out at the game? with such a huge game competing with it (arsenal v liverpool) id almost expect there to be a low turn out.

i'm sooooo upset about the liverpool game. how can a keeper like reina miss somthing 1 foot to his right...

excuse me? did you see the shootout that got them into the champions league finals? that guy is awesome. i'd take reina over cech any day

You can't judge a keeper on his ability to save penalties.

If you did that Reina would be first choice for Spain. You gotta judge keepers on their all round game, consistency, shot-stopping, aerial ability etc. Hence why Buffon has been top of the trade for so long, and why Cech is considered one of the best, if not the best, in the world at the moment.

I am getting tired of everything in the NFL getting overshadowed by New England and Indy. About their own stories, as well as the upcoming match. I know it's a big deal, but it's just another game. I don't know that the outcome will conclusively determine who is better. It's just a lot of hype.

At least there is little to no focus on the Chargers as they steamroll over everyone else on their schedule, including the Colts. I bet the Colts are more afeared of the Chargers than they are of the Patsies.

I still say SD will be 12-4 or 11-5 at the worst, and will the AFC West no problem.
