The top non-metal song per band list

No, you're fine. List has been updated.

While we're on this topic, what's your favorite Gentle Giant song? :)

I like Plain Truth, though I wouldn't call it their most interesting or the best showcase of their talent.

I removed arg's troll vote. Didn't want to do it right away, lest the thread get marred by drama in its infancy.

I don't know what's this thread about. Are we just supposed to link our favorite non-metal songs? Or there will be some kind of a competition or something?

@EspaDa it's all explained in the OP:
In this post I will maintain the list described in the title. If you want to add to the list, you must submit a post in the following format:

If your post contains ONLY the above 3 items, I will count it toward the list. I reserve the right to ignore (in addition to improperly formatted posts):
  • people who vote multiple times on the same band, without indicating a previous vote they want removed
  • people who nominate too many songs (i.e. more than 5 per day)
  • any other trollish nonsense
You are of course welcome to post general comments (in any format) if you do not wish to submit an entry.

For each band, only the song with the greatest number of votes will be listed. I will keep a spreadsheet of the votes to make sure things are fair. In order to replace an already-listed song, the new song must have more votes than the previous one. Vote counts are shown in parentheses.

I considered Mob Goes Wild for the lyrics, but felt it wasn't quite dynamic enough instrumentally.

The Regulator is pretty awesome, though, so I'll change my vote to that.
