I think I posted this here some years ago but here it goes again.

When I first arrived in the US, back in 84, and went to school as a not much english speaking lurch, it was the time of Ratt, Twisted Sister and Motley Crue.

Some chick was writing on the blackboard of our homeroom class the very same statement, METAL RULES. And I thought to myself; fuck, there are some rules I have to follow to listen to this music??? Of course at the time, this was about 1 month after escaping communism, so rules was all I knew.
