OK, so last week I applied to grad school. Yesterday I received an email from the chair-of-something-or-other saying ,"thanks for applying, etc etc etc we will inform you of how to proceed when the Executive Committee meets which is typically the second Tuesday of the month". But wait, wouldn't the second Tuesday of this month have been just the day before she sent me this email? Couldn't someone have read the application last week? So, I have to wait basically another entire month before I hear whether or not I can even complete step two of the process..and even then there's no guarantee I will be accepted (gay sex)?

Today is the day I dread all year... roto-tilling the garden area day.

Shoulda done it months ago, but I've been kinda avoiding it by doing everything else in the yard. Now I can't proceed without doing it. My back shall be dead, my arms rubber, for a week.

The shitty part about utah (aside of the people/buildings/stores/food/etc.), rototilling in fall is not an option since there really is no fall. It goes from 80 degrees and sunny to 35 degrees with snow in the matter of a few days. Same goes for spring... last week it snowed with a high of 40. Today? 70 degrees and sunny. Weekend is getting up to the mid 80's.
