Peeps on Facebook are probably already tired of hearing about this, but I'm pleased with myself, so what the hell - I'm now a staff writer for OneMetal.com - reviews already posted include Goatwhore's 'Carving Out The Eyes Of God', Asphyx's 'The Rack' and Decrepit Birth's 'Diminishing Between Worlds' - check it out at http://www.onemetal.com
Yeah, I mentioned in the review that the weakest link was the vocalist - although I think the band realise that, and so the vocals are generally unobtrusive and don't run from end-to-end in the songs, allowing the listener to concentrate more on the impressive instrumentational and compositional prowess of the band. As for '...And Time Begins' - yeah, doesn't match up to 'Diminishing Between Worlds' really - Odious Mortem's previous album 'Cryptic Implosion' was much better - probably why Decrepit Birth leaped so far forward when three-fifths of Odious Mortem's lineup joined Decrepit Birth.
cool man! just keep in mind that winter is coming and 'Sierra Nevada' means 'Snowy Mountains'I will be a gypsy for probably a year or so- living out of a tent for the most part. Also, I'm basically only taking what I can carry since I will be living in the Sierra Nevada wilderness for about 3 months sans civilization.
