This is very true. For what we where doing though, we where in the field for 5 months straight so no electricity of course. We had to jury rig ways to charge things, some people got USB battey chargers, etc. Lot's of iPods died as well because of the conditions. All that aside though, especially during the initial push out to Helmand province, and the days before departing Kandahar, everyone had their own choices of music for getting ready for battle.
