This is very true. For what we where doing though, we where in the field for 5 months straight so no electricity of course. We had to jury rig ways to charge things, some people got USB battey chargers, etc. Lot's of iPods died as well because of the conditions. All that aside though, especially during the initial push out to Helmand province, and the days before departing Kandahar, everyone had their own choices of music for getting ready for battle.

I got hit by a car in a crosswalk today, but I protected my head by putting my elbow through the windshield, and his side mirror broke my fall.

I have minor injuries, nothing is broken, but the damage to his vehicle is vast.

I claim victory in this encounter.

Turns out that there actually was a slight fracture in the calf-bone which all out broke on Thursday since I was walking on it for almost two weeks.
