I made this awesome curry quinoa dish, with cauliflower, chickpeas and green onions - it came out AMAZING!
and my special K-sweet peas (family recipe) and some grilled herbed chicken breast with it, it was awesome.
I had about 5 friends in my house watching the Olympics hockey games and they all cleaned their plates hahaha (make me happy when people clean their plates when I cook
)
Today for lunch: my Eggplant Parmesan!

The only reason I wont eat at Subway has nothing to do with their food actually, but has a lot to do with my class mates who worked at 3 different locations and the stories they told me of how they
were closing the shifts, and about the 'hygiene' that the corporation required from them (i.e. - none). I won't share their stories because I don't want to ruin it for you Subway eaters the way it ruined it for me.
(e.g. gross, gross and.... how about some gross)
But, Subway used to be my "on-the-road-no-other-option" go to , and now... no more.

Eh, if you check any city's record of restaurant inspections, you might be surprised at just how many places are gross and fail the inspection. Not gonna stop me from eating out, though.

All major chain restaurants are disgusting. FACT!
Like I said, my hate for Subway is my own. I heard gross stories about what they do with let's say.. 'unused' stuff, and their cleaning routine after the shift was over, and I wanted to puke my Subway meals retroactively from the past two years.
It's just my thing... sometimes I can't "hear" certain things, because then they will forever be in my brain. Kinda like the day I saw on the National Geographic how they make foie gras
It's forever imprinted in my brain, done deal. ...and Subway used to be my "on the road" place! I mean... not many places can fuck up a whole wheat sub with cheddar/lettuce/tomato...
but alas....not anymore.
...and that's a shame.

Food itself in general is pretty gross, I don't know why everyone here likes it so much. It's like sleeping. If we can put a man on the moon, can't we get rid of these things?
