@ everybody
yeah well, this 'miss antimatter' -thread was only about three girls here (pics attached, of course), who all have been a target of some bitching lately, and the question was 'who would you shag' so I doubt the purpose was nothing more than to piss off these girls.
Jokes and little friendly nagging is just fine by me, but I think people should also have the decency to stop it when you see jokes gone on too long on the same person(s), you know?
It's not about e-mates or cheese or nerdiness or what you call it, but the fact that most people here on the forums have met each other in person many times, maybe even become friends, but due to the fact that these peeps have spread all over the globe, there's not too many chances for them to meet up on regular intervals, so these forums help in that sense. it's just another form of communication as I see it. people behind the nicks and all that.
I'm not saying that we all should just be all serious and careful with our words (that wouldn't happen anyway
), but that a little respect wouldn't hurt anyone. it IS all about having fun and wasting some time - atleast for me - but I count some honest talk, with people I've met, or people I've come to know just thru these forums as having fun - without somebody picking on every word I say, trying to outwit me. it is entertaining for awhile in someway (and I don't get offended too easily), but gets boring easily if there's no substance to it.
the reason I'm venting a little here? just that not too long ago, some people were 'just having fun' here on the forums (I know I should've posted this on anathema as well, but i felt it suited here better), and the forum got shut down for awhile. a tragedy? not really, but annoying cause like I said, I like the idea of hooking up with people I've met and all, chatting some bullshit and that.
sorry for the long post, I just couldn't compress it
now, go ahead and call me uptight, boring kunt or whatever. I'm prepared for some flaming
