I see you terrible American's ended the year by killing off poor Betty White only weeks before her 100th birthday.
At least you're going to start the year right by putting Flotz at the top of the list

Strangely enough I've only got 6 of the CD's (heard 8) on that top 30 list

The thing that gets me about Betty's death is the dead shits in this country who have to doom say everything and they are already on about how such news is a terrible start to 2022 and that 2022 will be a bad year because of it. Her death certificate will forever say "December 2021", not "January 2022 (when it broke news in Australia)".

They are actually Canadian according to their contacts, but isn't that part of America?

Well I'm pretty sure the rest of the world will agree she died in 2021. I just hate idiots who have to carry on like this. It happens every year, a certain bunch of dicks have to cling to the early deaths of celebrities and then try and make some connection to the type of year it will be. I understand being upset about celebrity deaths, but no matter how many of them happen it doesn't define a year and certainly doesn't warrant comments like "fuck 2022 it's going to be a shitty year" only 8 hours into the year. That being said it happened in 2021 and 2021 sucked already

You should up end your life, dump everything and immediately leave and move to Canada

Dude, my wife has talked more than once about moving to Canada, but she just got a new job at a well known University on the East Coast so I guess we will try that out for a few years.

11 that I have heard and I think about 5 that I purchased on CD. Congrats to Flots and Jets for topping the competition in 2021! I enjoyed the album, but not sure it would make my top 10 of 2021.

I agree with their appraisal of the Flotz album, it's definitely going to be a contender on my list but I have a few I think will come close to the top spot.

Talk about embarrassing. I visited one of the old forums I used to frequent years ago, (where Metal was just a sub forum). A forum where metal was really a generic term but anyone who came along trying to claim metalcore was viable got rightly shot down in flames. In just under a decade since I was banned the same members have gone from laughing at metalcore to comments like "celebrating the new year with the mighty Parkway Drive"

I know! I could understand it if a bunch of new members came along and the old members moved on, but it's inexcusable being the same people. Even my emo niece doesn't like Parkway Drive any more, although in fairness she changes bands as often as she changes underwear.
