The what's going on in Thrash thread

No mention of Megadeth? Weird. If I could find those Pledge vids I could prove it! He would have been what? 12 on TSHF? What could he have sung?

I believe you, and he appears to be part of management at Mustaine Wines. But maybe with Megadeth doing Megafuckall he's had to seek outside employment.

Apparently he sung on the song The System has failed according to DIscogs. It doesn't say what he sung or how much, he's just credits with singing on that song.

A few years back around the time Dystopia came out, Justis was managing Havok. I think that is how they got an opening 20 minute slot on one of the Megadeth tours. I don't know all the details but remember it eventually went south between Management and the band, something about the cut from merchandise sales maybe?

He does have Havok linked to his FB page too, but his page doesn't appear to get updated often. Only really b'day messages on it.

I'm not privy to the details, I think that was when Havok had released and was promoting that turd of an album, Conformicide. I love to jump on the bash the Mustaine train as much as anyone, but I also question if Havok agreed to a bum deal because they thought opening for Megadeth would help their career.

You do have to think that even 20 minutes before Megadeth would do something for a band's popularity. By definition the support band is there to get a leg up from the headliner, that leg up may come in different forms but that's the idea. It's when the support act gets more popular than the headliner that tour problems happen :)

This makes sense and I can totally see it. I still like the idea that Dave Mustaine sits around sipping his Starbucks Latte while battling all the internet trolls himself, haha.

Funnily enough the pics on Justis' FB page for his last few birthdays have featured him and DaddyDeth sipping lattes or beers, one of them even has a tablet in front of them :)

On one pic he even tagged it with "meeting the chief" or words to that effect :)

The only people that will hang out with them is each other. They probably sit there on their terrace looking over the vineyard thinking of themselves as king and prince and wondering what the little people are doing.

Dicogs lists him as singer on The System Has Failed, but doesn't list which songs
They also list his as instruments on Something I'm Not, but don't say what instrument
They also list him as acting, spoken or literary on Ashes In My Mouth which isn't even on TSHF, although there might at one time have been a bonus disc release given that there has been 34 official releases of TSHF.

Wiki lists him as a background spoken part but doesn't say which song.

I think I remember one of the tag lines was "Ran into the chief in Nashville" which doesn't seem all that surprising given they both live there.
