The what's going on in Thrash thread

Did someone say they want more isolation videos of bands?
Yeah I think they did, so here ya go...enjoy!

And when you're finished with that one there is one of Benante and his mates doing a Billy Eilish cover.
What a day!!

Oh and in other big news of metal, Jnr says music events will be different in a post covid world. Bet you didn't know that!!

This just popped up on the F&J FB page. Not sure if it's an auto post or something but seems unlikely.

Flotsam and Jetsam has a show on 05/15/2020 at 08:00 PM @ The Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie, NY https://www.reverbnation.com/q/7nza16
Yeah that can't be right. I don't think places are open for shows yet. And even if they were how many people are going to show up?

We've got open air gigs planned for December/January but they are still with strict guidelines. But pubs and some clubs open up in several states this week so entertainment is back on the bill. But with patrons only allowed to be there for two hours and they aren't allowed to just sit and drink (I think a meal must be ordered or something) it's not going to be entertainment as we knew it. Still it should stop some of those entertainers bitching about having no gigs.

I'd have to look but I'm pretty sure most states are not there yet here, I know mine isn't. I can't imagine them traveling to NY for one gig.

Yeah my state isn't either, we are about 4 weeks behind the other states so school hasn't even gone back here. It's turned political here and the leaders don't really give a fuck about anything but themselves now, but the one thing they are sure of is that big gigs, actually any gig over about 50 people wont happen.

So I came across a copy of Joey's first album after Anthrax. I remember reading at the time (among other not very likeable things) that it was Joey's choice of direction that saw him leave Anthrax and that was why I never bothered looking for his solo album. But a few songs into the album and I'm now thinking that it wasn't Joey that changed direction.

It's not quiet as thrashy as POT, but it's definitely more thrashy than SOWN. Production is not as good and the guitars do sound a little empty because of it but I'm not hating this album. This does sound like more of a follow up to POT than SOWN is. Obviously I'm on record saying how much I do like SOWN and that hasn't changed, but Joey's solo feels more Anthrax than Anthrax.

Playing alternative....he's not working that hard. :tickled:. Seriously who thought it was a good idea to revive that shitty genre.

I'm sure that like KK thinks he's working hard Charlie also thinks he's working hard for his fans :P
I don't have a problem with any muso liking other music that isn't metal, I don't even mind when some do covers of non metal songs, but Charlie doing Billy Eilish really just makes me wonder if I could put up with watching Nickleback!

Creatively titled Belladonna.
I can't find much information on it, other than the players are listed as Darin Scott on guitar, John Hamilton on bass, and Scott Schroeter on drums and there is a pic of the cover.
