The what's going on in Thrash thread

If it's as good as we all hope. And our metal siblings actually pay for it I think it could last. They all sound pretty committed, Sean and Phil anyway. I haven't seen an interview with Bobby since he joined up.

Sean and in some ways Phil do seem committed but I wonder if people remain committed to them. I haven't really followed the career of either but haven't both had trouble keeping band members in previous bands?

Kiko's got a solo album coming too (not sure I'll bother with that) so it's good that everyone is moving into recording mode. With a bit of luck they have a good solid 12 songs and they aren't recording only 6 or so and hoping the rest come while recording. God knows they've had enough time to write the songs.

Also what does he mean by this?
We've been writing it since late 2017 — our last show was in Buenos Aires, Argentina back in November of 2017.
Is he also trying to forget they played shows with FFDP?

Going to give this a full listen tomorrow. The film clip for Unleash The Beserker is not terrible.

I had a listen to this last night and the guy's voice is a little hard to get used to but there is some goof thrashing riffs on the album.

I don't know anything about their previous bands. Except the shit one Phil recently left. ;)

I don't think I'll bother with his solo album. Unless it's heavy as hell and either has no singer or a really great one.
Didn't Jr say they were all recording together? But now it's back to him and Dirk doing drums and bass without the guitars being done?

Hahaha. I'm trying to forget too!

I just seem to remember Phil in the headlines a bit for band issues and I also seem to remember reading about other bands having issues with him. But I may have misread what was there given that I don't remember actually reading too many articles about the guy.

That looks like it'd be a cool anime :)

The cover looks good, the band name...ah ok I guess, and the music is quite good, and it shows promise given that this is a debut, but the vocals just didn't hit me. They chopped and changed a bit in tone and volume and at times he doesn't sound like he's got a voice for thrash, but I'm not sure if it's a case of trying too hard.

YAWN!! I do really like this album but there is no chance I'm buying what their offering with this package
I'll probably get it. But after learning what it is I'm not as excited for it. An extra hip hop version of I'm the man? It wasn't enough already? I'm cool with the video. But seeing how songs might have been and never were doesn't interest me. Too bad there are no songs that were hidden away from that time.

I thought they were over the I'm The Man phase. Vinyl would be wasted on me now anyway as I have the original on vinyl and don't remember the last time I listened to it on vinyl, but the extra tracks just don't do much for me. If I didn't have the original I'd definitely buy it and probably only listen to the extra shit once, but I'm not doubling up just for those tracks that really aren't an interest to me.

I still have to check it out. I suspect I may have the same take on it.
