I love some of the questions that come up when interviewers don't ask the same rehashed shit. I wasn't even aware Babymetal were still a thing, but I do like the way that when someone does suggest something that's not negative about the band people have to start making excuses for it. "Oh he has an Asian fetish", "he's a pedo", the comments never change. Maybe Gary's waiting for his invite up on stage with the girls, there has been quite a few other metal muso stood on the stage with them

Cool, something to watch tonight
It's not their best show but it's nearly 60 mins of live Exodus so that's worthwhile.
I was reading on Metal Archives forum yesterday that some twat is sick of mentioning the band Exodus to people and having them ask if they are a Christian metal band. He must live in the Bible Belt or something, because I've never heard of anyone thinking that.

Yeah Halford has sung with them, Marty Friedman has played with them because he knows the guitarist, DragonForce played with them, there has been quite a few. But there has also been bands like Metallica, GNR, and others who just did photo shoots with them.

Even if he firmly believes he did invent it saying he wants credit for it all sounds so arrogant, it's one step away from Gene Simmons territory. If Charlie tries to copyright it and them demands payment from anyone who has used it we'll know Gene has taken over his body! To me though it's like everything, someone has to have been the first, someone has to have shown someone else, but with an instrument that has been around for so long is it really possible to claim the invention of anything related to how it's used?

Seems the band haven't done much and they aren't even listed on Metal Archives. The sound under the drums on the Gene play through doesn't sound too bad, and there is a couple of tacks on YT, but it appears they are a fairly new band. Still not a bad effort to run your own festival and get a band like Testament to play it. Although it would really suck to have your drummer not able to play such a show. Would suck even more for the drummer when he does get back to band practise and they tell him he's been replaced by Gene
