Oh but it was supposed to prove that getting rid of Joey was the right decision...

did they do anything while he was in Anthrax?
No I think it was to prove that their music sounded better with Bush. Like Hey, see? isn't it better? Yeah Scott especially comes off as a hollow money grubber. Very soon after that album and going on tv and talking shit about Joey and being so sure Bush was the guy they did the Big4 shows made a bunch of money and then it was Joey is the man!I think it did nothing of the sort. It proved John could sing the songs, but it didn't prove he could sing them like Joey. In many ways I think his live effort was better than the studio recorded efforts. But the pressure on JB, whether he realised it or not, must have been a big part of how that album turned out. It was a stupid thing to do if that was the reason and considering it was the last album JB did before Joey came back it was even more ridiculous.
I wonder if they were able to tour on them.Actually they did two albums, but I don't have them so I didn't realise it.

Oh that is interesting that it had the opposite effect of what they wanted lol. They could have gotten anyone and I think the result would be the same. Joey gave them something different and special. He has a unique way of singing Scott's offbeat lyrics. You can't just change that and say it's better than what put them in the top field.
Really? Wow! I had not heard about that! I guess it's not surprising. That Spitz would have to do that is crazy.
