The what's going on in Thrash thread

http://bravewords.com/news/destruct...n-munich-burning-witches-confirmed-as-support

Pretty sure it was the lead singer of Destruction who only a few months ago bragged that the government was paying his band as a company to stay home during covid and any band who wasn't set up the same was stupid. I'm also sure he went on to explain he wouldn't do any online concerts or socially distanced concerts like the drive in shows Doro and others were doing. Now they have already done two and they have dates for more. Maybe money really does talk!

Nothing wrong and again I mean no disrespect towards vocalist’s,but a Thrash instrumental album would be fine with me. I know as far as sales go that’s definitely not the way to go but damn would it be an enjoyable listen!
I would totally love to have an instrumental album with Greg. I love all the ones he played in Testament. Best bass tone ever!

Ohh I thought he said he was tired of zoom meetings and was working on getting a real jam session going.

Oh he did too, I actually read it as being sick of meetings via zoom but they were too far apart to make physical jamming a thing so they were working on something online which I assumed used the same zoom software

French vodka...hmmm. Booo Ripper! He's been surprisingly quite lately. Trying hard not to say something stupid.

I don't think he cares where it came from. Although there is rumours (no idea if true) that during the filming of Decline of Wes...etc where Chris was in the pool the glass he was drinking was not vodka, it was water and he wasn't actually pissed. So maybe he's never actually drunk vodka.

KK has him locked in the dungeon and wont let him near the media :)

I could! depending on the player :)

One of my mates from about 16 had a bass and no one else to play with, but he had good weed and bourbon so we spent time at his place. The price we had to pay was listening to him play bass lines we mostly didn't recognise because he was so bad. I can't face bass solos any more!

Aha! The whole thing is a sham! Straight edge!

KK. Another one who has been blessedly quiet.

Let's face it the guy's whole life has been an act, it's probably not likely he wasn't a drunk but it could be possible :)

They were recording before covid but I imagine that took a hit with KK in England and Ripper in the US (I think), not sure where the rest of the band were from though. But you're right they have been quite, or Blabber has been too busy following Ted Nugent!

I bet when he starts talking again I'm gonna wish he'd shut up again real quick!

Omg. Nugent. That guy needs to go! Enough is enough already. I get clicks and all. But at some point they become complicit!
