Young me would have punched old me in the head for this sort of statement but fuck I need a haircut.
Too many days under cars, working in the garden and crawling through the roof space for all this covid hair. Sick of pushing it out of my face, sick of it getting in the way and sick of it getting dirty every job I do. Now I wonder if I can find the energy to actually go and get it cut.

I think covid hair might be one of those new words (which don't seem to be single words anymore) added to the Oxford dictionary this year. Seems news services from nearly every country with lockdown have talked about people emerging from lockdown with covid hair, long wild hair because hairdressers have been closed. Honestly I don't really have the excuse, hairdressers/barbers have been open in this area for about 3 months, I'm just lazy. But fuck it everyone else is blaming covid for everything this year!!

My wife doesn't say anything much about it. Same as when I don't shave. If it wasn't so annoying I'd probably not think about it but it gets in the way too much.
