Without question. All their early albums should. They didn't even sound that good new. I wish they had been able to do what they had wanted to do years ago and remaster the albums leaving everything alone except the drums and bumping them up. Like First Strike Still Deadly. But alas. Atlantic are still dicks.

Hahaha! Remembering the good ole teenage days when I didn't think enough to care and just cranked it! :)

Yeah and I drove around with the windows open like I thought the rest of the world wanted to hear the music I was listening too. Now days I realise I just looked like a tool. If I'd spun the wheels, revved the engine and left rubber on the road I'd have looked like today's complete tool!

Overall I'd say COC really beat the odds a lot. I like most of their stuff. Whether it's the 3 piece version. The line up on Blind or Pepper on vocals. But I think In The Arms Of God really shows what you mean. I like the album a lot. The songs are great. But that drummer change really shows. The album would have crushed with Reed or even just a metal drummer on it.

Gene? :)
Yeah I do agree there was definitely something missing and as good as the album is it's just not a go to when I want some COC

Well I suppose he's not stopping people like the Flu Fighters did :) And didn't they cop crap from some people for doing that!

We've had our first major company here try the 'no jab no job' idea. They've given every one of their 450 employees till November to get jabbed or no working because they are a food manufacture and they consider themselves front line. Their definition of front line might be a bit objective but I don't really see a problem with demanding staff in a high turn around food processing business do whatever they can to protect themselves and the company. Of course the legal fraternity is up in arms but hopefully they can fuck right off to their shit pits where they came from.

Tee Hee. I do it because I know they don't :D. Listening to Snare right now! I couldn't get it on my itunes even though it says I did. But something called Groovemusic popped up and is playing it. I don't know if it's a Dell thing or a Microsoft thing.
Very raw! Pretty cool so far!

The biggest problem with music out open windows is that to the person down the street it all sounds the same and they can't tell you're listening to something good :)

Groove is a Windows thing. Not sure why that's the only thing that plays it thought. Mine plays on Winamp because I'm so old school I haven't updated in 15 years :)

It is raw and weird that they got rid of Mike after that demo, although he might have left to go to MC, I can't remember the time frames.

He would have left or been fired from Snare to go to Heretic and then to Metal Church? Is that right? Was that Snare a demo or an EP? It's really rough but it's cool. It sounds like garage practice tape almost. It's really cool to hear it. He really nailed his delivery down just a short time later. but you can hear the building blocks here. And Not that he's bad at all here. It's all good!

Dammit, now you are making me go and look :P

Heretic 1987-1988
Metal Church 1988-1995 2015-2021
Snair 1988

Apparently his first band was Hellion which became Snair before the demo was released.
He then joined an already formed Heretic.
He then departed Heretic for Metal Church
There is no mention of how or why he left those bands, but it is mentioned that Heretic disbanded, which they technically didn't even though they didn't record another album for 20 years.
He also guested on Hall Aflame which was a project Kurdt did in 1991 claiming he was burnt out from Metal Church
And he guested on an EP in 1997 called Illusions from a Swiss band called Megora and they are listed in M-A as power metal.

I had no idea his musical journey had so many twists and in such a short time! I can't imagine any of those bands actually getting rid of him and more ,likely the other way around lol. He raises the level of any band.
The name Hellion really strikes a memory. But it must have been some other band with that name.

Hellion is a Judas Priest song which is what I thought of, not sure about anything else although I bet there has been at least one other band with that name since.

Kudrt obviously liked Mike for him to quit MC and then invite Mike back to do his solo project.

Fark me! Lockdown again. The kids have been back at school 7 days, my wife went back into the office today, and tomorrow it's all back to home. Can't wait to see what the primary school don't provide us with this time, at least the secondary school is proactive and already has the shit ready only an hour after the announcement.
Lucky there is no good albums out this week that need my undivided attention :)

Hellion was a very good female-fronted metal band led by Anne Boleyn, who founded New Renaissance Records. She worked with some of the musicians from Dio. I remember "The Black Book" being good stuff.

I'm sure it's a coincidence that it is named the same as the MH band. Probably both inspired by the JP song.
