I think AK gets better and better as the show goes on. They shoulda got more time. Was Flotsam the only one of our bands to play Wacken this year? I couldn't find, Testament or Overkill or Metal Church.. oh and Slayer, Anthrax and Exodus
...nice giff!

Yeah it the same shit rehashed from a different weekly source and has been happening for more than a decade. One week Dave says "don't blame me." the next week Jnr says "don't just blame Dave". Then the third week everyone else says "It's Dave's fault." All the time it keeps the players names and the band name current in the press. The media bandwagons on both side of the fence circle tightly when they have something to sell, or someone is selling something on the other side of the fence.

They are probably all sitting back in a room somewhere drinking beer and laughing at the media who print the shit and the world who believe it all.

Join in next week for an interview were Marty says that when he first heard Jnr's critical analysis of his J-pop inspired music that he cried and thought of how hard it was to work with Dave but he has the utmost respect for the guitar tech who was such a nice bloke he'd go beyond the realms of niceness to ensure Marty always feel wanted.

That was really funny when Dave( Mustaine ) said that about Marty's music. Clueless but funny lol
Marty's only real connection to Jpop as far as I can tell is being on crazy Japanese game shows. His music is not.

It's too bad, Blabber could be covering NAMM and the festivals more. Dave is usually at NAMM probably the whole band. but they'd rather piece together shit stories.

Didn't Marty marry a j-pop singer or something?

The annoying thing with BM, actually all those sites, is that they all pick up these stories from so many different sources and so few are interviews conducted by the actual site. Some of these articles are reworded from audio transcripts of radio shows, some are rewording of interviews for magazines and it's only that rewording that makes a difference to how the article reads. I know MI got called out on their blatant copying of articles from other sites not long back because they were cutting out selected crap to make their articles more controversial. Seems like all the sites are in a competition now to see who can create the most BS in any given week.

Hahaha! another case of people who should know better lol. Yeah it's crazy just how screwed up some of these stories get. It's laziness and greed. The biggest buck for the least amount of work.....YAY!

I honestly have no idea about who Marty is married to, I'm not even sure I knew if he was married period. I guess if he was that would be a closer connection. lol But still his music isn't.

Them fighting for the biggest buck is why I'm not worried that they called me a dick for running ad blocking software on their site. I'm going to go to their site daily just to have them tell me I'm a dick for not giving them any money or revenue :)

Marty's played in Christian metal too, the two Dave's should be right into that. However he did go j-pop at one stage

In 2011, Friedman collaborated with Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover Z, providing guitar for their song "Mōretsu Uchū Kōkyōkyoku Dai 7 Gakushō "Mugen no Ai"", which would become a hit in 2012.

In 2014 Friedman collaborated again with Momoiro Clover Z, providing the guitar track for their single "Moon Pride".
He's actually married to a cellist.

I'd be scared of those Japanese games shows, the few I have seen usually involve swords or something weird. I saw someone on FB link to a game a few months ago where they had women giving blokes handies. I don't even know what the point of the competition was.

Wikipedia doesn't say they have recorded anything and wiki knows everything :)

Hahahaha point? lol

Oh man I know some people who swore up and down wiki new everything about everything. To the point where he got mad and challenged me to prove it. I did very easily I believe it was the Flotsam page. He just got madder lol He's one of these guys that thinks if it's on a computer it's gospel. I was like how are you surprised? These are the same people that can't use a turn signal when they're driving lol. Sometime later he tried to pass that line off as his own on me:rofl:

Thankfully they didn't show the point :)

I remember telling a client of mine back in about 03 that one of the best options of free advertising on the net was to make up a wiki page about himself, his bands and his history. Sure it could be edited by people but we could always re-edit it but it was brilliant advertising because wiki was one of the first sites that come up in just about every google search. He didn't believe me and then got shitty that advertising himself on the internet was too expensive.

The big difference between the two is that not everyone knows how to edit a wiki, everyone knows how to dribble shit on FB.

Sadly though wiki is useful if you can weed through the shit. Hear of a new band, get on wiki and do a bit of research and decide whether it's worth looking into them further. FB doesn't have enough information to do that.
