The what's going on in Thrash thread

That crowd there looked pretty good, but it will probably somewhere in Europe. That's where I'd do it lol

War At Warfield was recorded in California and Live Intrusion was in Arizona because I think they used an NFL crew to film it. So maybe they wont go too far from home.

On the other hand it might force them to address that D.D. shouldn't be writing ALL the riffs.

I'm not sure letting everyone sniff their dirty undies will do that :P I do believe it's issues like DD writing the riffs that should be discussed, but not in the media.

I understand Bobby was a bit pissed off with the DVD and what he says was unfair treatment by the band, I understand that there is two sides to the story and Overkill might not be telling all the truth but it's that kind of shit in the media that makes it harder to like a band. I'm sure Blitz is being a little selective with his comment that they don't air their dirty laundry but on the whole I'd have to say I hear/read less backroom bullshit from Overkill than pretty much any other band and I think that's a good thing.

I just think it might make them look at why so many people want to see Bobby G back in the band. I've never heard them address the "why" of it. Only the fact that it didn't work out. Letting the bass player be the sole riff writer for so long has been noticeable,

Maybe it will. I'm sure the band have handled whatever they need to and I'm fine with that, I don't need to hear why or how from either side, I'm just happy when they keep it to themselves rather than let it play out in public like so many other bands do.

I don't care about the laundry, I just want to know how they feel about so many people missing Bobby G

It's probably like every controversial decision a band makes, they know there is divided opinion but they have their reasons and they get on with life as they see fit. I doubt the current band loose any more sleep over the numbers of people missing Bobby G than the current members of Judas Priest loose over fans thinking KK should be back in the band.
