The what's going on in Thrash thread

Where as I got my new laptop and I look so different now :p
What sort of error are you getting?
Ok so my dad made me use Ccleaner. (long story, I've been having signal problems because he's been screwing around. but of course that couldn't have caused my problems. Hense the cleaner. So I had to sign back in. But it wouldn't let me. So I just turned off Privacy Badger for this site and now I can log in. Don't know why. Because I've been running that this whole time since I switched to firefox.

Would they also have needed to get another Dave to play guitar?
I can't imagine Lombardo in Megadeth and not because of the drugs like he pointed out. I just don't think he'd fit. Although I did laugh at one of the commentors who claimed he couldn't play slow enough for Megadeth.
I'm having trouble thinking of a Dave on guitar that could have done it.

Unless you tell it otherwise on the second settings screen Ccleaner dumps all Frireox's cache, passwords, logins the whole fucking lot. It's a bastard of a thing for that. But you can turn off each one of those things individually on that second screen. ("Custom Clean > Applications then select/deselect Firefox options as required.) I don't let Ccleaner touch anything on FF.

Not sure about Privacy Badger and what it might stop because I haven't run it. I tend to run things like uBlock Origins which stops those same trackers. FF as a stand alone doesn't do a bad job with trackers and cookies anyway and it can be somewhat controlled via the settings. It could be that Ccleaner also wiped PB data and therefore a cookie that was once accepted is now being looked at as 'new' and not acceptable.

The only thing I would think might be effecting it is that once of the cookies as a part of the login doesn't track back to this website so PB sees it as dodgy. If you're logged in and set to stay logged in then you turn PB back on it might decide to accept cookies already attached.

Privacy Badger is one of the recommended apps by Firefox. I haven't had one issue till now and it blocks the crap that's been pissing me off on Blabber. I turned it off for this site, logged in and turned it back on and I guess I'm fine until the cashe gets wiped again. But at least this time I'll know what to do. I'm still meaning to use the one you talked about.
The biggest problem will be stopping my dad from messing with stuff. He's become a total gadget junky! :)

I know the feeling. Because my Dad was making circuit boards for computers way back in the 70's he thinks he knows what computers are and how they work. Every time I build a computer and sell it to some one he knows it's "we built this" and "we've been in business 25 years" etc. But for all the "we" it's always me that has to price them, get them, build them, install them, then support them. The only advantage of the "we" association I see is that he doesn't ask for payment.

Blabber and ad blockers or privacy aps probably wont be good friends very often. The whole make up of the Blabber site is essentially a shitload of ads with back links to places that may or may not seem to have anything to do with the title of the link. Not to mention the trackers and stat collectors.

I just loaded the first page of Blabber and it's amazing what else loads when you load a bunch of text and images on a nice white background.
I can't see all the ad links and data but I can see everything from trackers I recognise to many I don't to preloaded images to preloaded links, there is google counters and trackers, Facebook links and connections. There also seem to be some hard coded ad data that my ad blocker is not showing but also not deleting in the mark up. Needless to say if we were still on dial up modems by the time tomorrow's news got to us Anthrax's new album would be out!

The hell is that he's right a lot of times. But he sure does act like a little bitch a lot.

Other than making a dick of himself I see no reason to call out Trump voters and ask them to justify themselves like he did, that was really silly. We all knew who those people were, they'd been on Blabber telling us who they were. But taking it to Twitter to ask them to defend their choice was not something that made Sebbie look better.

https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/d...t-a-lot-of-diversity-on-megadeths-next-album/

I completely agree with a lot of the blabs. I just want a thrash album like they said. Their albums have been pretty diverse the last 20 years at least. Is it so bad to do a beastly thrash album?

Oh you're not fucking wrong. Diversity is where they went wrong last time. The piss off here is that we weren't promised diversity 18 months ago, we weren't promised diversity 6 months ago, now the new album has diversity. No No No No No and more fucking No Mustaine, give us thrash, let Jnr and his buddy Thom Buttfuck screw around with diversity.

Lol. Dads. :).

I think my big issue on Blabber was the ad that was this video player that kept popping up and making the page shift constantly while I was trying to read something. As long as that's gone I'm ok. On Blabber at least.

Lol Not even that could bring the Anthrax album out!

I forgot he did that lol. I have mixed feelings. Sometimes I think it's good to call people out and make them think about why they believe something.
But he does it way too much.
