The what's going on in Thrash thread

Lol. This is how watered down the people in our scene have become. Sticking up for the Kardashian over the artist. Saying things like who cares? you're old. And talking about people who say poser. Yeah. You know who takes that stance? Posers! Maybe you're music doesn't mean shit to you. But it does to people that actually like metal.

The car from the first Mad Max? That car is so bad ass.

Yeah that one. It was not a genuine car, Ford did make a similar body kit but not an "interceptor". There is about 20 fan made cars still in existence though, and there is a genuine movie car still in Broken Hill (out in the middle of absolutely no where) at the Mad Max museum, but it doesn't have a working blower sticking out the bonnet.

These Disney Marvel things have really sucked so far. I don't know about this one though. Go Chuck!

If he's just an 'additional' voice that's going to make it harder to watch. I'll watch something like that for a main character voice but for what is essentially a bit part that might be a tough ask. But good on him for doing it. I want to hear Zetro voice one of the My Little Pony's :)

The funny thing about that is that Metal Injection tried to blow this one up just after it happened (about 24 hours before Blabber got it) and nothing really came of it. The first word I read reckons that she's wearing her husbands clothes unlike her sisters who don't seem to have any other connection to the music scene than Kayne (is he even a music connection?). If she's wearing his clothes I don't really care too much, if she's trying to be fashionable like her sisters then she can get fucked just like they can.

Man that car is was sick in that movie. That was the best Mad Max. Much more real and gritty.

Yeah it was, I've always loved that film. The second one was okay, but not as good, the third one sucked except for a few good moments and the latest one is good, but it's not really the Mad Max that was created 40 years ago.

Yeah she is supposedly wearing her husbands shirt. But he's Blink whatever it is, sooo. :tickled: I imagine everything those people do is a supposed statement. It's probably hard for them to go out without trying to get some sort of attention. Pretty funny about MI
I take more issue with the people apparently offended by the word poser. If you're offended by the word you are one! :p

Yeah I would hate to be the sort of people who see cameras wherever they go. I know these people usually put themselves into the limelight for their own benefit, but I just could not live my life waiting to hear what some magazine was saying about my t-shirt.

I'm a bit surprised poser hasn't been replaced with a more millennial word, it's been around for too many years for today's generation to keep using it :)

Yeah it would suck to me as well. I shun any attention I could possibly get. I don't even like to play my guitar in front of people lol. Amazing to me that some people actually crave that kind of thing.

Yeah you're right. The millennials are slipping! Well, they're almost to old now anyway!

Yeah that's my take on the franchise as well. :). That car though...:kickass:

I was never a Ford fan. In this country we had Ford and Holden and most guys kind of grew up on one side of the fence or the other even if they didn't follow car racing, or even liked cars. But that Ford was one of the few Ford's that Holden fans accepted. The panel van Max drives in the first one, which I believe is also in the Mad Max museum, is a Holden Kingswood, while the cops in the movie drove Fords so the makers played on both side of the car rivalry fence!
