Yeah he says he's honest to a fault and sometimes says hurtful things. The problem with the people who are like that is that a lot of times it's THEIR truth. Not exactly THE truth.Wait until we start embellishing the stories for the really high drama like those reality shows do!
The problem Mustaine would have with multiple aliases is that they would start disagreeing with each other. The guy is either misquoted in the press or he flip flops from one side of the fence to the other whenever he thinks people have forgotten the original story. I'm sure he's been misquoted many times, but I'm also fairly confident in suggesting that Mustaine's truth changes the more often Mustaine retells the story.

No I can't really either. He's got some fans and fair enough but there is no way he's taking fans away from Priest if he's only offering a sub par copy of Priest. Apart from anything else I think he's really burning some bridges now and long time fans are getting sick of his shit.

I've no doubt there is some BS in Nick's book, show me a bio that doesn't have BS in it. Shit, Nick even admits that some of the stories are hazed with drugs and alcohol so they are the truth as he remembered it. If the moving pictures doco stays close to the written word doco then I will probably side with Nick. But then there is really no reason to side against him. I don't think I read anything harsh or untoward in his book and I certainly read nothing that sounded like him wanting to start a fight. The manager sounded more likely to drop bombshells than Nick did, so if they keep to the book I think the only person making any waves will be Mustaine because he wants to rebut even the shit that is not about him.

But Dave's also been known to give his truth in arguments that no one was having. Or, and I know the media played a big part in this, but just before Nick's book came out Mustaine was asked to comment on several stories in the book that leaked. The media egged him to say something and he was too stupid to keep his mouth shut. Mustaine is like a politician the way he retells stories, everything paints him in a good light, and when it doesn't he moves to defence, "look at that guy over there picking his nose, I'm not like him!"
