Hey, all of you musicians here! This is going to be a thread in which you can showcase your own personal music, or band. Give some information about your sound, influences, any upcoming shows, as well as links, pics and soundfiles.

A few people kindly mentioned my stuff previously (thanks! ), but since we have a new thread, here goes...

SOLO:

Released one solo album "The Master Plan" through my own label PROGMATIC MUSIC. The music is instrumental prog / rock fusion with a focus on songs as well as my guitar playing. Not something you normally hear much of in Australia. Time to start making #2.

COLLABORATIVE:
Co-wrote and recorded the song "Fly" with Mark Boals for his "Edge of the World" album. Amazing feeling to have a singer who's worked with Yngwie, Tony MacAlpine, Doug Aldrich etc singing something I wrote.

BAND:
Playing and singing backing vox in a melodic rock band signed to BMG Publishing. We're showcasing for some record labels in September / October.

Lotsa things on the boil. I hope there's time to do them all properly!

Hey, thanks Yngvai! This is a great thread guys. I'm so glad that aspiring musicians with a true understanding of melody can find each other, and put out their work. No matter how much feedback you guys get from the world, NEVER change, or stop what you are doing!!!

I play drums in a Punk/Rock band called Crush. (formerly Crush & Blast LOL). We're sort of a cross between Bad Religion and The Bangles or something soundwise. (we have a female singer/rhythm guitarist). I also do the backup vocals. We're a fourpiece band otherwise comprised of a bassplayer (Iwan the Terrible) and a Lead guitar player (Arthur the Great) We don't have a website yet, or Cd's or Mp3's but we're working on it. 'We're nothing like Prog, but in the words of the mighty Fishbone: 'We will knock your socks off!'
