Oh yeah you're right, because Morbid Visions (and Bestial Devastation) was only a masterpiece of sinister death metal, released way back in 1986, wheras Testament were really pushing the boat out with text-book chugging and basic melodies which by 1988 other bands had already pioneered around half a decade earlier. morbid visions is mostly uninspired and not half as innovative as BD was because it basically just rehashes those ideas except less sinister, less extreme, less well written, even sloppier performed
every other pre-chaos ad sepultura release KILLS morbid visions
also the new order might be overrated by some and i never claimed they were anywhere close to innovative but it's a quality album mate
