I would just like to add that this poll isn't anonymous in the least bit. If the right person/people wanted to and presented a strong enough reason to get a warrant to search the server's logs they can easily find out who voted what. It's anonymous to the public...

I'm using a cracked Logic 8. But the thing is I bought the Logic 7 for 999$ 2 times. One for my studio and one for private use. When they later released Logic 8(like 1 month after I bought my last Logic 7) I was so pissed that they wouldn't let me upgrade to Logic 8 for free. So if I hadn't bought the last Logic 7 and instead waited one month I would get a totally new Logic 8 at half the price.
Other than that I have bought every plug I use. Revalver, Aptriggah etc. Everything else is pure Logic plugs, limiters, eq, compressors etc..

Talkin' about astronomical prices, the place I work at picked up some adobe production premium bundles, which run like 2k .

I have used some pirated plugs sometimes in the past though and don't feel bad at all about it. I mainly like to try things out even if I couldn't afford it, such as some Waves stuff. It turned out I didn't really even like them too much... And I like to try before I buy. I'm thinking about giving Ableton Live and Logic both a spin whenever I have some free time in the near future, and see if I like them.
BTW, I'm still lacking a lot of free plugins after I switched to Mac. Any recommendations? This site was pretty cool: http://www.apulsoft.ch/freeports/

Really? Because it wouldn't take much for a rep from Waves to contact their lawyers and get a subpoena to force UM.com to turn over their logs...
Much like how an AG's office just did to MySpace showing all registered sex offenders using their site.
