How come HCDR is considered new Bodom?

For me new Bodom doesn't include HCDR. That was when COB was still outstanding.

Maybe someone should do a poll where we are able to vote for every single Album...

Dude, give it a rest. I was only saying that because a lot of people come here and say ALEXI IS TEH BEST GOD BLESS!111!!3! and they are brand new users. Well we are here to discuss the music, not talk about Alexi being a god of some kind. And it is happening more often now that before because the new album is more mainstream.

oh and also its all americas fault the new bodom sounds the way it does because thats where some of the bands that alexi listens to are from. shame on americans..all 280,000,000 of them. i think its safe to say that because slipknot is from america and alexi listens to them then its americas fault. right? ok, glad you all agree. everyday i thank god on what a great job he did creating such brilliant open minded people.

I think HCDR is more of a transition album from FtR to AYDY. Because it has elements from FtR and new stuff and AYDY has elements from HCDR and new stuff but not as much old-album elements.

I think it's unfair because to me Follow the Reaper presents equally new and old Bodom. If FtR was "new" Bodom in this poll then of course new Bodom would win. But two albums vs. three albums is pretty unfair to me, so of course old Bodom wins now (like the maker of this poll obviously wants), so this doesn't "settle" anything.

I don't understand why this is such a big deal. and no im not a fangirl. In my Opinion the newer bodom (AYDY?) is just as melodic (in some places) as the older stuff. Its all good . I prefer the newer Bodom as of now. I play keyboard as the newer stuff seems to be the same, if not harder.

For me, SW and HB are old, FTR is some kind of middle-thing...

See, my first Bodom song was Lake Bodom, second was Touch like an Angel of Death, and then came Hate me!, and while hearing Hate me! I thought "wow, thats the same band? sounds different...

But there are still many oldish Bodom-sogs on FTR, also the sound is still cool...HCDR is new, in my eyes, but I got used to it, but AYDY is something complete different...not worth a cent for me...

IMO old bodom is much better. SW and HB are amazing albums, and the song HcDr is fucking great. After that the sound became more mainstream and now they're all over MTV and all that crap. But they're still children of bodom and hell, that's what matters...just hope the next one is a bit more like HB or SW.
