heheheh - it's a tough one to get out of the head once it's in.

This thread went a little pearshaped for me - I need to start a new one. I was looking for recommendations on 'non-obvious' fave thrash albums....

Still, as you were....

SLAYER - Reign in Blood
DEATH - leprosy
KREATOR - Pleasure to Kill
MORBID ANGEL - Altars of Madness

Newer Stuff

ARCH ENEMY - Wages of Sin

Sodom - Agent Orange
Destruction - The four first. But Eternal Devastation is the best.
Coroner - Mental Vortex
Kreator - Extreme Aggression
Artillery - Terror Squad
Metallica - Ride The Lightning

Metallica - Master of Puppets
Megadeth - Rust In Peace
Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power
Kreator - Coma Of Souls (although I believe Violent Revolution is a hair better)
Flotsam & Jetsam - Cuatro
Overkill - I Hear Black
Testament - The Gathering (followed closely by Practice What You Preach)
Annihilator - Alice In Hell
Exodus - Force Of Habit
Anthrax - State Of Euphoria
Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss
Metal Church - Blessing In Disguise

and I know I missing a few too.

Coroner - "Mental Vortex"
Death Angel - "The Art of Dying"
Testament - "Low"
Anthrax - "State Of Euphoria"
Heathen - "The Evolution of Chaos"
Sodom - "Persecution Mania"
Thrashist Regime - "Carnival of Monsters"
Kreator - "Endorama" (yeah, yeah, I know...)
Megadeth - "Rust In Peace"
Metallica - "Kill 'Em All"
Intruder - "A Higher Form of Killing"
Toxik - "Dis Morta"
Forte - "Unholy War"
Killers - "À L'ombre des Vautours"
Onslaught - "The Force"
Overkill - "Feel The Fire"

and I like so many other thrash bands, but these are probably the ones I like the best around.

@Wyvern I finally checked out the Toxik "Dis Morta" album a couple weeks ago, pleasantly surprised! It was like a natural "next album" after "Think This". Heavier, a bit more modern, but definitely still had those vibes.
Exactly my thoughts!

Glad you like it.
