Yeah. German thrash actually strikes me as LESS over-the-top than, say, Exodus. It's just the very early Sodom and Kreator stuff that gets it that reputation–i.e. "I read Satanic bible with fucking grown! Masturbate to kill myself!" That's not representative of Teutonic thrash as a whole...kind of a shame, as I find it TOTALLY FUCKING AWESOME.
