Good one Deron. I've been listening to C-187 lately. MA cites them as Tech Thrash. They have some cool Jazzy leads, & it's overall decent stuff. It's not great, but it's the only Thrashy stuff I've listened to in a few months.

btw, the album before pandemonium called The Unholy Spell is the best one. pandemonium had a great production, but the musics from the unholy spell are more violents

and it should stay awesome. without Thrash, there would be no death metal, black metal or grindcore.

Asylum Of Shadows is better, but honestly I was never huge into them like many others were (only because UltraBoris reviewed them
hum... this album had a poor production, and the compositions are so raw... (of course it's not bad, but the next album was better cuz mixed raw compositions with good technic)

NWOBHM did not evolve from hardcore and punk.
yeah, Nec's right, but hardcore had a huge influence on thrash.

Do you even know what it means to play in a "Jazzy" or Fusion style?? Many Metal bands have done it & still been Metal. I've seen your sig before & you just had a lot of somewhat standard Thrash/Traditional stuff on there if I remember. I've heard most (maybe all) of those bands at some time & I can still listen to other stuff.
EDIT: You changed your sig I think. Only thing I haven't heard there was Sauron.

no? bands like iron maiden and english dogs had a lot of influences from punk and hc. but now i'm confused cuz i don't know if every nwobhm band had the same influences.
