This what they classify them as "Metalcore, Thrash / Heavy Metal" and if you ask me there newer albums are in the Thrash / Heavy range.

that Trivium song is great. all 3 bonus tracks are, actually. Poison the Knife or the Noose and Throes of Perdition are better though.

What do you folks think about brazilian thrash? I think they have a pretty solid scene, especially in the 80's and early 90's. Sepultura used to be my favorite, but everyone knows they haven't wrote any thrash albums in ages. Recently I got into Korzus, that's responsible for the classic album "Mass Illusion". They're still active, and their latest album Ties Of Blood was pretty awesome, 'cause it's still true killer thrash, and not any tribal/nu-metal bullshit. Anyone know what happened to the other big bands of the brazilian scene, like Attomica and Dorsal Atlantica? Are they still active?

Don't forget the Death/Thrash band Torture Squad. And they are still active.

Really? I love Torture Squad. I enjoy the thrash/death genre just a tad more than plain thrash.

Anyone else find that Annihilator's "Never, Neverland" is freakin' awesome. Some of the riffs make me wanna punch Jeff Waters in the mouth cuz I didn't write them. "Alice In Hell" is definitely better in terms of good thrash, but NN is still really good, melodic, and catchy as hell.

Alice In Hell and Never, Neverland are Annihilator's only good albums imo.

Then you have "The One" and "Hold On" coupled with those mind rapingly awful vocals. I agree that along with another couple tracks are good from AFY but still meh overall.
