Listen to their early works. Feel The Fire, Taking Over, Years of Decay, etc. Much better stuff then Immortalis.

Was listening to Seventh Angel - The Torment today. That's a pretty good album. you thrashers familiar with it? Solid UK thrash with some doomy tendencies and pretty wild vocals at times.

Incredible record, i love that album so much. Katie is an awesome song.

Unless you're comparing them to Holy Terror or Sabbat/Skyclad I don't see what isn't great about their lyrics. Unless you literally mean that they aren't the greatest but instead 3rd-ish place.

Listening to Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death. Killer album to be sure, but I have re verified that Possessed - Seven Churches is indeed the owner of the title of best death/thrash release evar. It just is.
