Lol fail. Tho I like a good amount of bands on that list. I'm more into Slayer's old material, Kreator's new material. Sodom i'll listen to any. Megadeth sucks now. Metal Church always been good. Testament they go back and forth they never really sucked. And Dark Angel, I never got into them.

Outside of really broad genres like death metal, how many actually have thirty good bands?

U can name alot in black metal, pagan metal, and death metal. Thats really the highlight of heavy metal. But not many bands otherwise get anywhere trying to cope with thrash, progressive, industrial, power, or alternative even.
