Thrash!

have you guys seen the new Warbringer cover? I swear to god it's stolen, reminds me so much of a different album but I can't put a name to it.

The color scheme gives me a slight Gateways to Annihilation feeling, but I doubt that's the one you're thinking of.

you guys are probably all getting that feeling because all those bands used the same artist (Dan Seagrave). he does a lot of death metal stuff, check out his site, he's done morbid angel, suffocation, decrepit birth, mithras etc. my band is waiting on a drawing from him too for our new ep (maybe an album if we get signed) but judging by the sketches it looks a bit different than his previous work.

I'm a big fan of thrash metal. Gotta love the classics like Voivod, Razor, early Megadeth, Sodom, Destruction. Fuck, Kreator are playing here pretty soon, can't forget those guys.

This week on Maximum Threshold 4/25:

You thought last week was a power packed show? Than you will have to tune into this weeks show and catch up with some of rock/metals greatest musicians.

Sacred Oath- they have a new record out and it is really bad ass! You have to give it a listen and see what Rob Thorne has conjurned up.

Sin Quirin - guitarist of Ministry/Revco will be coming on to talk about Ministry's new release as well as Revco's. Ought to be real interesting.

Wayne Static- frontman for Static X. Wayne will be talking about their newest release and many other topics. If you have never heard anything about Wayne this interview will really get you into SX.

Tracy Bailey - guitarist for Blackwater. Will be on to talk about their newest material also and we are expecting to be dropping some of their new music on our show. Tune in BW is a really great band an you need to be following them!

I got Heathen - Breaking the Silence, and I no longer hate Heathen! Ok, I never hated them, but Victims of Deception was a disappointment to me, based on the hype. But BtS is a much better album. So now I may even go back and give VoD another chance, and now I look forward to the new one from Heathen.
