Can anyone recommend me some good thrash, preferably with clean vocals (though I don't mind growling)

Anything like Metal Church, Metallica, Testament. You can see what I already know through my last.fm (click my signature) though there isn't a lot, I know hardly any thrash (I only discovered Testament 5 minutes ago for god's sake).

Well, on their myspace-page there´s a blog-entry stating "Détente to reuninte at Headbanger`s Open Air 2008", but I don´t know what the line-up will look like. One thing is for sure: it definitely won´t be Dawn Crosby (R.I.P.) who will be singing.
