if that 54% thing is true, wow, that even furthers my opinion that american people have become the most ignorant group on this earth (not everyone of course). There is a 90% approval rating of Bush and the bombings... it really sickens me... Someone tell me, who are the terrorists. Something has been lost in all of this. I'm from America, and as much as I try not to get involved with this shit, 75% of the posts on this thread make my stomach churn. I do agree that nuclear weapons shouldn't be used, and let's hope they aren't. We (America) can't just forget about what these people did to us, we must retaliate. I say the word "foreign" so much because I'm sick of these people thinking they know everything from what they've heard through the media. I'm a broadcasting major in college and I know for a fact that half the shit you hear on the radio or read in newspapers is bullshit, especially in times like this. You must keep in mind that these radio stations and newspapers, and everything else are businesses. They are in it for the money just as much as they are in it for "informing the public." I know that LSDPhilosophy is American and I wasn't referring to him in my post, except when he asked "who are the terrorists." I can accept opinions from anyone, but when they are as slanderous as the ones I've read on this topic, I have a hard time accepting them. And I'm in nowhere near a "national phase" as the foreign people on this board are with their nations.

All i am saying is that I don't like when people jump to conclusions based on (most likely) false accusations. I'm far from racist, but it just seems like the people jumping to these conclusions aren't Americans. They did not witness firsthand what happened here. All they know is what other people tell them, mostly the media. I don't how my behavior could provoke people to commit acts of terrorism, unless I made a blatantly racial remark, which I did not. yeah, i know you have your reasons, and I have mine. you cannot deny the fact that most of the people complaining about the way the US is handling this situation aren't from the US. That is my reason. Half of these people have no clue what they are talking about.
We have evidence, the Taliban just likes to say stuff like that to get people on their side. Kind of like them saying we're bombing and killing tons of civilians, when civilian casualties are very miniscule, especially when compared with other military operations in any country's history. The funny thing is, lots of people believe the Taliban just because they want more reasons to hate America. I don't get the hatred and resentment, personally; we've always been there to help out the countries from which y'all are complaining.
As for Greece, I've never been there. When I lived in Canada, there was a Greek guy who had a gyro shop. Those things were damn good. The ones here in Utah suck.
