hey, x-post here, but I wanna hear your opinions about this amps's sound:

NewAmp

For me it's a totally different flavour compared to my other amps...but somehow I'm still liking it...now I wanna hear your opinions ;)

(no post-processing, 'cept 60Hz/13.4k HP/LP

It's a pretty fuzzy and thin sound. I can't say it really floats my boat, but I'm sure you can find some use or another for it in a mix. I think I've heard tones like this beefing up the standard rhythm tones on some Nickleback albums.

yeah, that's what I thought, it's got that typical EL34 quality....I thought about putting 6L6 in it to fatten things up, but on the other hand I've got the Recto, 5150 etc so I decided to keep the EL34 and the fresh flavor it gives blended with one of the other amps.

Yeah I'd definitely go with keeping the EL34s. Personally would consider it more of a blend amp than something standalone. I'm sure you'll find some good uses for it in augmenting existing tones. A lot of its tone seems to happen in areas of the spectrum where other amps don't really go... if that makes any sense.

I like it very much, especially the chords in the beginning sound well defined to me. It may not be the right amp for the total wall of sound, but for somebody who wants to hear the single notes in his chords or needs some kind of clarity, this amp seems to very usable.
Thanks for the clip.

The last recording of this riff i heard (Krank+Rectro blend i think) sounded approx. a million times better than this amp.

Cheaper than a fireball?...Is it a Bugera 333XL Boutique-Style they're cheap
