We didn't have the 80's live albums yet I guess ...
I can't recall that many live albums, so make it your top-whatever
of 80's live albums...

* Raven - Live at the inferno
* Stampede - Days of Wine and Roses
* Slayer - Live Undead
* Racer X - Extreme Volume
* Reading Rock 1983
* Vardis - 100Mph
* Chinatown - Play it to the death
and the whole bunch of Maiden, Priest, Sabbath etc ..live albums!!

Maiden - Live after Death
Priest... Live!
Ryche - Live in Tokyo 84 (Video release only, until 2003)
Scorpions - World Wide Live
Dokken - Beast in the East
Kim Mitchell - I Am A Wild Party
Great White - On Your Knees + Live (shoulda added this to EPs as well)
Racer X - Extreme Live

To me, it seems most of the best live albums came out in the 70s or 90s-present. The 80s didn't seem too have many. Most of the "live" albums I have from the 80s are bootlegs.

Motorhead - No Sleep 'till Hammersmith
Saxon - The Eagle Has Landed
Iron Maiden - Beast Over Hammersmith (recorded in the 80s!)

HELP!

These top 10 threads are burning my brain, either we are out of ideas or...what the hell we're UMOS! :lol: Since I'm not either into live albums a lot, let's see what do I have for the 80's:

Black Sabbath - "Live Evil" (my second vinyl ever

)
Blue Oyster Cult - "Extraterrestrial Live"
Thin Lizzy - "Life/Live"
Motorhead - "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith"
Deep Purple - "Nobody's Perfect"
Nazareth - "Snaz"
Rush - "Exit...Stage Left"
Judas Priest - "Priest...Live!"
Yngwie J. Malmsteen - "Trial by Fire - Live In Leningrad"
Riot - "Riot Live"

but I must quote some others:

Thin Lizzy - "BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert" (great album, but I didn't want to repeat bands in the main list)
Pink Floyd - "Delicate Sound Of Thunder" (not metal but a very good live album and yes, I don't miss Waters at all)

Saxon - "The Eagle Has Landed"
Iron Maiden - "Maiden Japan"
Meliah Rage - "Live Kill"
Muro - "Acero Y Sangre"

good live albums, but they're are mini-LPs actually (usually concert albums are longer than 60 min)

Witchfinder General - "Live '83"

it wasn't realeased until 2006
