Top metal colleges

I'm going to college from next year and would like to know which colleges have the best metal scenes in the US ... and also which are the biggest metal cities in the US

NYU, Columbia, CUNY, etc

NYC is the biggest city/metro area in the country. If a touring band doesn't come to the city proper they'll definitely go to one of the suburbs of the city.

ok so can u tell me some major colleges there.. NYU i've heard of...but what abt LA...like so many bands came out of there...slayer megadeth metallica...to name a few...if you could just gimme a short list that would be great

Lot of metal bands go to Worcester. Some might go to Boston or other citys but lot of the time Worcester. Worcester has Holy Cross college there.

Los Angeles is another great place for metal, so check out USC, UCLA, Mt St Mary's, Loyola Marymount etc

how austin texas or may be phoenix arizona?? not only does the city gotta be metal..but there gotta be some decent colleges there..

UT is a decent school in Austin Texas. Arizona State U is in Phoenix but I dunno how good it is. I'm guessing by your typing and stuff that I shouldn't bother to recommend high end schools for you though?
