This here is an asphalt desert beautified by artificial greenery(well, that's a crude description, but still...). Somehow I feel Arizona is more barren though.

If I ever move to the US, I'd want to live somewhere where the climate is perfectly mild. I dunno, Wyoming or Colorado. Am I in the ballpark?

Probably not Colorado cus to me it seems like that place would suck in the winter.

Colorado and Wyoming are definitely not mild because they are nearly in the middle of the continent. Also there are extremes in elevation

If you want mild, go to the west coast.

Mild is San Diego.

I love the southwest USA, thinking of moving to Tucson or Austin/San Antonio after I return from Japan, but I'm also really attached to the big East Coast cities surrounding my hometown (Boston, NYC, Montreal). I WANT IT ALL

DarkBliss I've always imagined Israel to be kind of like Iran in that it has like 10 different climate zones, now obviously Iran is much bigger, but am I in the ballpark?

Like Iran? But we're too small a country for there to be a multitude of climate zones.
There are no intermediary seasons per se(spring, fall). Just winter and summer. Well, our winter is moderately rainy, with snow only in the mountains to the North and in Jerusalem.

The weather is capricious; it could be hot one day and cold the next day in the winter.

During the summer, spring and autumn months we often get what we call "khamsins"-when it's excessively hot, and there's not a hint of wind. The air stands still, and you feel kinda suffocated.Occasional sandstorms may be followed by a sleet or hail.
Humidity varies from 20% in the extreme south(there's an awesome resort city on the border with Egypt called Eilat. We've got the Red Sea there.) to up to 70% in the rest of the regions.

Overall, the climate is pretty bad, but you get used to it.

I live in Worcester
*Points at you, laughs*
I only ever go there for shows at the Palladium, but it seems like a real shithole, full of scene kids. Also, the NEMHF has Amon Amon Amarth this year, so the only reason I can think of for you to name a bunch of core bands is that you are in fact a hardcore kiddie yourself. Profiling is awesome.

Don't move to Worcester.

how's austin texas??
what's wrong with phoenix?? lot of bands seem to play there??
and the course i want to do is computer science.. so if you know any good colleges in a metal capital which have good CS courses let me know pls

You don't just study something just because you have a cornered view; there would be no fucking point. You have to be open minded with your studies with the will to improve your skills and touch on variety.
