But the problem is UChi is private and that means cost are sky high. The only way i could actually goto Uchi is by scholarships and i haven't looked into that much. But how's University of Illinois, Chicago. At least what i saw lot of concerts were held in the campus. I think Megadeth or some band will be playing there shortly. So i'd prefer it if you could help me look around for public.
BTW how's Seattle. Kinda noticed lot of bands play there, but anyone on this thread from there? Just give me a inside scoop?
@Ananth- No, i'm not only going by the city and it's metal scenes. After i get suggestions here i go and look into the other attributes of the college.

UChicago prices are indeed very high, but they also meet 100% of the financial need, so if you or your parents made under 80k combined, you would be getting a good amount of money.

As for UIC, its a pretty good school as well, and also near where shows are and so on.

Move to Boston if you want a good college. Cape Cod is great but I don't think it has a college. Fitchburg has a college but that a bigger shithole then Worcester.

I doubt you could even get into UChi to begin with so I suggest you don't worry about it.

Speaking from my own personal experience, Portland and Seattle are both excellent for living, entertainment and schools that you could get into.

Yeah, that is true. CU has a amazing party life, and it's only half an hour away from Denver . Luckily for me it's on the top 50 CS colleges. So definitely applying there
